End of Year Activities:
October: AGM organized for Wednesday October 12th at the Terenure College Rugby Football Club at Lakelands for 7:30 pm.
November: Annual Dinner and Awards presentations organized for Saturday, November 26th at Terenure College Rugby Football Club at Lakelands to arrive by 7:30pm for 8pm seating.
April: News of the Summer Events happening this year
July: On July 1st 18 Walnuts will tour Southampton and the Isle of Wight. The tour schedule includes going to see a county T20 game in the Hampshire Rose (Ageas) Bowl, and then partaking in a Tri T20 tournament in the Isle of Wight against local sides at Porchfield Cricket Club, and a 30 over game the next day, also in the Isle of Wight, against Ryde Cricket Club. A huge thank you to our captain, and Isle of Wight native, Brian for organizing what promises to be a fantastic short tour.
July: The 24th July the Italian side Idle CC will be visiting Terenure College to play the Walnuts. This is a game that was pushed out from last year, and we look forward to hosting them, and hopefully will be able to provide the same level of hospitality that they showed the Walnuts when we toured there a few years back. August: On the 11th August, we have another touring party visiting the Walnut tree. The Sussex Wolfhounds CC will be touring the area and will be playing against the Walnuts in an evening T20 game that has the makings of a very fun encounter.
April: Nets Session organized in Terenure College for April 27th 2022, between 7pm and 9pm. All welcome.
March/April: Season 2022 has now been scheduled to begin on the 29th April 2022 with an away game to Leinster to kick it off.
