December: Our beloved fellow Walnut, George Cree, has passed away. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. May he Rest In Peace.
July: Unfortunately the 2020 Season has been declared null and void due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was thought to be in the best interests of everyone associated with the club to cancel all fixtures for this season. We will be back in 2021 for the new season. Please join us then.
June: Addition to the "In Memoriam" page with a lovely poem by Pat Tunney's sister Mary on his one year anniversary.
May/June: Due to the CovID-19 Pandemic all cricket in Ireland has been cancelled. This of course includes the Taverners. The Tour to the isle of Wight/Southampton is also postponed to 2021.
February: Winter Nets have been organised. Location : Terenure College Gym @ 20:15 - 22:00 (8:15 pm - 10pm) on the 12th and 19th February. Come one, come all.
January: The tour of Southampton and the Isle of Wight is being organised by Brian Goold. For latest news on this please check the Tour Page entry for 2020.
The annual Walnuts Dinner and Presentation Ceremony will take place in the Terenure College Rugby Club, Lakelands, Terenure on Saturday the 29th February, and will be catered by the fabulous Damian Kelly - for great food at a very reasonable price check out his website @ www.kellycatering.com .
